Miracle after miracle…..

Miracle after miracle…..

We can’t thank all of you enough for all of the heartfelt prayers, and gestures that we have received over the last 2+ weeks. We are humbled, and our spirits lifted, in such amazing ways (more than we can count). You will never know what an impact you have made, and we thank Jesus for your efforts.

Lo is doing miraculous things, and that is because we have a Miraculous God. She has a healthy appetite and is eating well. Thanks to all who have provided her “favorite stuff” (sweet potatoes, seafood, brussel sprouts and so much more….(including the gluten free chocolate cake and Kombucha tea on tap from Company Cafe (thanks Brandon!)).

She is going through intense physical, occupational and cognitive therapies and responding stunningly (is that a word?….need your input editors/writers, Rachelle, Mick ..ha ha)..if not, it is now!

She gets up and around on her own. She has been riding a stationary bike, taking her own shower and dressing herself today. I was able to snag some of her own fashions from her closet today! Needless to say, she feels like herself.

Her spirit is amazing. She credits her “Jesus” for carrying her thus far. We continue to Praise God that Lauren knows Jesus personally.

Please continue to pray very hard for the pain to subside. It is still excruciating at times.

As our family works through this trial, we also pray for you. We pray God work in your hearts and draw you close to Him. No matter what you might be facing this Christmas season, know that Jesus is your answer, and He is enough.
Take seriously your marriage and family…..Because God
graciously restored our marriage in 1999, we know He can do
the impossible. (Ephesians 3:20; Matthew 19:26)
Take seriously your friendships.
Take seriously pouring into others lives. That’s where you find
    true Joy.
Take seriously LOVE….this is what life is about. “If we don’t
have love, you have nothing “(1 Corinthians 13: 1-3)
Take seriously finding God’s purpose for your life.
       (Jeremiah 29:11-13)

Trust Him, and follow hard after Him. He is your All in All…………
         (Proverbs 3:5-6)

A few years ago I wrote a prayer request on your website. I was so amazed and blessed because Cheryl called me on my cell phone. The advice given was to focus on a few of God’s promises in His word. One of them was Ephesians 3:20. I so love this verse. God did answer my prayers in just this way. Your daughter’s healing is a testimony to this verse too. So happy for your family and how good God is to hear our prayers and answer them in ways we cannot imagine. Wishing your family the most beautiful and joy filled Christmas.

I still have goosebumps thinking about how god works in mysterious ways. I was a bit stressed in my marriage a few years ago and read your book “I Do Again”, I remain happily married as a result, thank you so much!!! I have since shared your book with other friends, or give them a few highlights from the book to help guide others through their own marriage struggles. Today, unrelated to anything, I read on MSN about this gal’s plight, Lauren “Lo” and I thought, it’s Christmas and I always give to some charitable causes, so I went to paypal and made a donation then checked out Lo’s website, (it was beautifully designed and showed her true spirit for an enthusiastic and helpful life…then I saw her website guru of 1000wordsmedia.com and found the connection back to you! OMG…now I can help you and your family through my donation, you helped mine several years ago. God Bless you all! It all comes full circle : )
