Cheryl’s Top Ten List for Wives……

Do you realize than in Scripture, when God references marriage, He always speaks to the wives first? Interesting huh?

So today, I want to give to the wives my “Top Ten List for Wives” (husband’s you will see Jeff’s top ten in a few days!)……..we won’t forget you!

The Top Ten List for Wives
– My relationship with God is my highest priority
– My relationship with my husband is second to my relationship with God
– Be subject to my own husband so that he may be won without a word    by my conduct when he sees my respectful and pure conduct
– Let my adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit
– Do your husband good and not harm all the days of your life
– Respect your husband
– Guard my heart at all times
– Build your husband up and let him know you desire him
– Live my life with a spirit of forgiveness
– Meditate on what Jesus did for me on the cross and understand who you are in Christ
Feedback?? Thoughts?
Oh! And today is my twin girls’ birthday. Happy 22nd……
22nd??? wow……..I’m really not that old, am I?

This is beautiful. Heard about you and your husband at WaterMark's ReEngage last night. We are going through a difficult husband had an affair and I am struggling. I am buying your book and hoping my husband and I will get to read it together.

I am struggling with taking care of my husband's needs physically and following my own sex drive. His (every 2-3 days) is greater than mine(every 2-5 days depending on the time of the month). How do you balance this? I desire my husband and love him deeply but feel this self-imposed pressure to meet his needs every 3-4 days whether I am in the mood or not. What would you do?
