Georgetown Baptist Church hosts a marriage retreat each year. In March, Jeff and Cheryl Scruggs came to lead our marriage retreat. They did an amazing job telling their story then spending several sessions sharing the lessons they learned through their divorce, reconciliation, and ultimate re-marriage.
Several couples came to this retreat with serious issues in their marriages and each of them expressed that Jeff and Cheryl’s story had a profound impact on their situation. It was exciting for me as a pastor to see how God used this committed couple to help open the eyes of young couples who were struggling in their marriages.
Jeff and Cheryl Scruggs are using their experience…the bad and the good…to help others repair broken or hurting relationships.
